Family and staff from Garvey’s SuperValu Tralee came together to celebrate the career of Gerry Hanafin who retires after 48 years of service to Garvey’s

For nearly five decades, Gerry has been the heart and soul behind the counter. known not just for his skill, but for his warmth, his stories, and the genuine care he showed to everyone who walked through the door. To so many in Tralee, he wasn’t just the butcher, he was a familiar face, a friend, and a daily constant.
